Katie Goodwin Art
Katie Goodwin is an artist living on the border of Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire who specialises in vibrant floral paintings.
Having come from an entirely creative family and receiving a first class honors degree in Fine Art, it was inevitable that Katie would return to painting after leaving her teaching career.
“During lockdown I was always inspired by nature and the beautiful rural surroundings in my locality. It undoubtedly helped me with my mental health. This led to my current obsession with all things floral.”
“Flowers have been part of the significant events throughout our lives. Evoking precious memories of these times or loved ones is something I hope to achieve with my recent artwork. Using texture and colour to bring a smile to your face and brighten your wall.’
‘My teaching experience has proved useful in providing floral painting workshops to both beginners and more experienced artists. I’m so happy to share my knowledge and experience- seeing others get the same benefits as I do when painting is really rewarding.”

Sharon Sycamore Art
Sharon Sycamore is an artist based in Lincolnshire who has been painting for 3 years having taken an online abstract art course during lockdown.
Of her work Sharon says “I focus on abstract design principles & processes to produce contemporary works of art.
I use unconventional tools, subtle values & colour palettes, the addition of texture, exciting shape, vibrant saturated and unsaturated colours and thought-provoking contrast to create high impact works of art.”
“Using mainly collage, acrylic paint and mixed media, my latest series of imagined vistas has been created especially for the exhibition at Fen Farm and was inspired by my recent trip around the world where I visited such countries as Egypt, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia and Australia.
Although you won’t necessarily recognise any of these landscapes in the pieces I’ve produced, what I hope you will get is a sense of those places and an essence of being there.“
